About the author

Larry Janke

I’m Larry Janke—technologist, flow-science nerd (in the coolest way), and performance alchemist behind What Would the Best Version of Me Do Right Now?—Book One of the Simple Playbook series. My work translates flow science, peak performance, neuroscience, habit architecture, longevity principles, and human-centered design into simple plays anyone can run today.

I’ve spent years building systems that make progress feel natural—at work, in training, and at home. My approach is practical on purpose: fewer hacks, more repeatable behaviors; fewer buzzwords, more results. Whether I’m prototyping an AI-powered workflow or refining a morning routine, the goal is the same—help you level up one intentional choice at a time.

Beyond the page, you’ll catch me chasing Flow—spending time with my family, riding my mountain bike, playing soccer, and tinkering with process-and-performance improvements for the things I love. I believe momentum is a family sport.

What I stand for

  • Science you can use (not just read)

  • Systems over willpower

  • Sustainable peak performance (hello, recovery)

  • Progress > perfection—always

If that resonates, you’re in the right place. Let’s run the next right play together.
