- Openoffice.org - If you don't know already, this is an awesome app. Save your cash for a rainy day because this OpenOffice.org has it all for everyone. Mulitlingual and multiplatform! Create and Edit documents, spreadsheets, presentations, draw, and so much more. If it sounds like we can't get enough of OpenOffice.org then we might finally be doing it justice.
- Google Documents - Google is turning out to be the anti-microsoft. I don't know if they are trying to take over the world, and I don't care. They consistently deliver amazing and innovative products for the low, low price of nothing! With Google docs you can create and edit word processing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Combine that with the ability to store them on the web and access them from anywhere and you have an absolutely astonishing tool for your home or business use. Thanks again Google!
- ThinkfreeOnline - I originally planned to only feature the first two here, but a search of the web led me to ThinkFree and I had no choice but to include it. I had to register in order to use Thinkfree but after giving it a whirl it comes out smelling like a rose. The interface is friendly, the editor worked without a hitch, I can store and edit my documents online, and I found a few nice features to explore in the ThinkfreeDocs section.
